All items are subject to prior sale to University departments.
All items are sold “as is, where is”.
All sales are final and terms are cash, check, Visa/Master Card.
Payment for fleet vehicles will be CASH, CASHIERS CHECK or CERTIFIED
CHECK ONLY. The University will not
be responsible for the security of any items after the auctioneer has awarded
the said items to the highest bidder.
The University reserves the right to reject any and all bids on the
vehicles. All successful fleet
vehicle buyers will be required to pay a $200 CASH deposit on the day of the
auction and final payment in full (in the form of CASH, CASHIERS CHECK OR
CERTIFIED CHECK) must be made within three (3) working days.
NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR ANY PART OF A FLEET VEHICLE
PURCHASE.
*Items and vehicles will continue to be added to the sale’s inventory. The University reserves the right to alter the sale inventory. All bidders must register to bid. Proper photo ID (driver’s license, student ID, etc.) necessary to register. All fleet vehicles must be paid for with CASH, CASHIERS or CERTIFIED CHECK. A $200 CASH deposit is required from the successful bidder on vehicles on the day of the auction. All vehicles are sold on an “as is, where is” basis. The University offers no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, including without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Food will be available on premises. Penn State University and the auctioneer will not be responsible in case of accidents. Auction will be conducted as per auctioneers terms and conditions. Verbal instructions on day of auction will supersede any written terms. Any or all discrepancies will be settled by the auctioneer and will be final. Items for auction can be viewed 7 AM - 9 AM the day of the auction and Wednesday, August 30th 7 AM - 4:30 PM. All purchased auction items must be picked up no later than Thursday, September 8th.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA IF YOUR ORGANIZATION IS EXEMPT FROM PENNSYLVANIA STATE SALES TAX,
YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR EXEMPTION FORM WHEN REGISTERING.
